Mathematics: Solving multi-step equations

SOLVING MULTI-STEP EQUATIONS

In this module you can study how to solve equations that take more than two steps to solve.

The video above is the first of a two-part series explaining how to work with multi-step equations.

The video above is the second of a two-part series explaining how to work with multi-step equations.

For those of you who like Khan Academy videos, here's Sal Khan with his explanation of multi-step equations.

Did you know?

If you subtract a value from one side of an equation, you must also subtract it (not add it!) from the other side of the equation.

As long as you do exactly the same thing to both sides of an equation, the equation will stay in balance.
