The above video explains what a fraction is and where to find the numerator and denominator of a fraction.

 

Did you know?

The line in between the top number (numerator) and the bottom number (denominator) means 'divide.'

e.g.   is the same as 0.25

On a calculator: 1 ÷ 4 = 0.25
