Mathematics: Solving two-step equations

SOLVING TWO-STEP EQUATIONS

In this module you can study how to solve equations that take two steps to solve.

The video above from Mr. Karaba on YouTube does a good job of explaining how to work through two-step equations.

The above video from Khan Academy shows how to solve equations that have even more than two steps.

Did you know?

When solving an equation, you must perform the same operation to both sides of the equation.

If you subtract 5 from one side on a equation, you must also subtract it from the other side.
